General Regulations for Recent Developments – 1446 AH
The applicant must be a Saudi citizen or born to a Saudi mother.
The applicant must have obtained a high school diploma or its equivalent from within or outside the Kingdom.
If the high school certificate is from outside the Kingdom, it must be officially equated by the Certificate Equivalency Committee at the Ministry of Education.
The Academic Achievement Test score must not be less than 50% (the available score at the time of application will be used).
The General Aptitude Test score must not be less than 50% (the available score at the time of application will be used).
The minimum weighted percentage for applying to the health track is 85%.
The minimum weighted percentage for applying to engineering majors is 80%.
The minimum weighted or equivalent percentage for applying to a bachelor's degree is 65%.
The minimum weighted or equivalent percentage for applying to a diploma program is 60%.
The validity of the General Aptitude and Academic Achievement Test scores is five years.
The applicant must not have an academic record at the University of Tabuk in the last four semesters.
The applicant must not have been academically or disciplinarily dismissed from the university or any other university.
The applicant must not already be admitted to or enrolled in the same or any other academic degree at the university or any other institution.
The applicant is fully responsible for the accuracy of all submitted data. Admission will be canceled if any discrepancies are found.
The applicant is responsible for following the admission procedures through the official website and social media channels of the University of Tabuk.
Regulations for Studying in the Health Track
The academic year in the health track is mandatory. Students are not allowed to defer the semester, withdraw from it, or withdraw from any course.
A student who fails to complete all health track courses is granted an additional semester to fulfill the track requirements.
Students in the health track are not permitted to study as internal or external visiting students.
Regulations for Specialization in the Health Track
The student’s academic status must be “Regular.”
All health track courses must be passed within a maximum of three semesters.
The cumulative GPA must not be less than 3.0 out of 5.0.
Specialization is granted competitively based on the specialization criteria (cumulative GPA and admission weighted percentage), the student's preference order, and the available capacity in health specializations.
The results of the courses taken by the student during the first year in the health track are recorded and counted in the academic transcript.
Qualified students may be specialized in the following health programs at the main campus: Medicine, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Technology, Nursing, and Physical Therapy.
A qualified student who does not submit a specialization request within the specified period will be assigned to available health specializations based on seat availability.
If a student does not meet the specialization requirements, they will be transferred to a non-health specialization based on internal transfer regulations and their cumulative GPA.
Students are not allowed to transfer from Nursing or Medical Laboratory Technology programs in the branches to health track specializations at the main campus.
Students are not allowed to transfer from scientific colleges to health track specializations at the main campus.
