Driven by the University of Tabuk’s belief in the importance of constructive dialogue, meaningful feedback, and the value of leveraging the expertise and experiences of all its stakeholders -including students, faculty members, staff, service beneficiaries, and members of the local community- the University is committed to utilizing modern technologies to strengthen communication and provide participation channels for everyone.
This policy aims to provide all stakeholders with the opportunity to contribute their ideas, suggestions, and solutions to the University’s academic and administrative development processes and decision-making activities.
 

Participation Mechanisms and Objectives

Through its electronic portal and various digital channels, the University provides a range of participation mechanisms to ensure that the opinions and suggestions of University affiliates, local community members, and representatives of both the public and private sectors reach the relevant departments and divisions within the University.
The University strives to respond to submissions as promptly as possible while maintaining the highest standards of privacy and confidentiality.

The University utilizes various electronic participation tools, including:

• Comments and ratings on the public website pages
• Surveys and questionnaires
• Complaints and suggestions
• The Tafaul (Engagement) Platform

The University seeks to present and discuss matters that contribute to the development of education, research, and community service, while also seeking advice and consultation from experts and stakeholders. The nature of topics presented for discussion depends on the University's need for consultation, their relevance to University affiliates and the community, and the extent of their direct impact.

General Oversight

The University of Tabuk reviews all submissions before publication to ensure a high standard of dialogue and to achieve the intended objectives, in accordance with the laws and regulations in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The University reserves the right to refuse publication of, edit, or remove any submission that conflicts with its policies or applicable regulations without prior notice and without any obligation to do so.
Important Note: Participation through the University’s electronic channels constitutes implicit consent for the University to utilize submitted contributions in decision-making processes and the development of future policies. The University shall not be legally liable for any consequences resulting from the publication of comments or feedback through its electronic platforms.

Terms and Conditions

To ensure that community participation achieves its intended objectives, the University of Tabuk requests all participants to adhere to the following terms and conditions:

• Adherence to Values: Contributions must comply with Islamic principles and national customs and traditions.
• Compliance with Laws: Participants must comply with all relevant laws and regulations of the Kingdom.
• Seriousness and Objectivity: Contributions should be serious, objective, clear, concise, and, whenever possible, written in proper Arabic with correct spelling and grammar.
• Mutual Respect: The use of offensive language, indecent expressions, insults, defamation, religious offense, sectarian remarks, or any form of discrimination or racism is strictly prohibited.
• Accuracy of Religious Texts: Care must be taken when quoting Qur’anic verses or Prophetic Hadiths to avoid any inaccuracies or misrepresentation.
• Data Protection: Publishing personal information such as names or contact details is prohibited. University platforms may not be used to market or promote any third party.
• Prohibition of Misuse: Participants must not misuse the University’s electronic systems in a manner that affects their performance, security, or availability.
• No Duplicate Submissions: Please refrain from submitting the same contribution more than once.
