The University of Tabuk was established in 1427 AH (2006 AD) following royal approval in accordance with the royal telegraphic directive No. 3514/MB dated 3/5/1427 AH (corresponding to 30/5/2006 AD) to serve the residents of the Tabuk region and its affiliated governorates and villages.
The university's main headquarters is located in the city of Tabuk in the northwestern part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Its campus covers an area of over (12) million square meters. The university also has colleges located in the five governorates of the region: Duba, Haql, Al Wajh, Umluj, and Tayma. The university is working to develop its programs, departments, and units in accordance with its third strategic plan (2023-2027).
