About Tabuk University
The University of Tabuk was established in 1427 AH (2006 AD) following royal approval in accordance with the royal telegraphic directive No. 3514/MB dated 3/5/1427 AH (corresponding to 30/5/2006 AD) to serve the residents of the Tabuk region and its affiliated governorates and villages.
The university's main headquarters is located in the city of Tabuk in the northwestern part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Its campus covers an area of over (12) million square meters. The university also has colleges located in the five governorates of the region: Duba, Haql, Al Wajh, Umluj, and Tayma. The university is working to develop its programs, departments, and units in accordance with its third strategic plan (2023-2027).
University History
1427 AH
Establishing Tabuk University as an educational institution aimed at meeting the needs of the region, with the commencement of construction of the first campus and foundation programs.
1429 AH
The first batch of students graduated, marking a major achievement in the university's history.
1431 AH
Adding new colleges, such as medicine and engineering, to expand the academic specializations offered.
1433 AH
Opening new facilities, including advanced laboratories and modern libraries, as part of infrastructure development.
1436 AH
Launching strategic partnerships with local institutions to promote scientific research and support community needs.
1439 AH
Digital transformation through the adoption of e-learning platforms and the provision of comprehensive digital services to students and faculty members.
1441 AH
Adopting distance learning to ensure the continuity of the educational process during the COVID-19 pandemic, while developing distinguished electronic tools.
1443 AH
Various academic programs have received international accreditation, enhancing the university's global standing.

Launching green campus initiatives to promote sustainability in education and university operations, with a focus on environmentally friendly solutions.
