The Strategic Planning Unit was established as an initiative by the Deanship of Graduate Studies and Development, recognizing the importance of strategic planning and qualitative initiatives in achieving the college's strategic goals. The unit aims to provide an effective system for qualitative initiatives that contribute to the achievement of the strategic plan's objectives for both the university and the college. The unit closely monitors the implementation of initiatives based on the university's and college's goals, which derive their significance from Saudi Vision 2030. These initiatives promote excellence and sustainability within the college and help create a comprehensive roadmap guiding the college toward its future goals. Additionally, the unit evaluates and tracks the implementation of initiatives, measuring their outcomes to ensure continuous alignment with the university's and college's objectives, and adjusts plans and strategies as necessary.
Establish a vision and mission for the college derived from the university's vision and mission.
Prepare, implement, and update the college's strategic plan in alignment with the university's strategic plan.
Promote a culture of strategic planning and qualitative initiatives within the college and its departments.
Monitor the implementation of initiatives and provide evidence and documentation to meet the performance indicators of each initiative.
Prepare the annual report on the strategic plan and qualitative initiatives implemented, relating to the four strategic goals of both the college and the university.
