About the Unit:

The Scientific Research Unit is one of the key pillars that contribute to the development of university colleges and strengthen their role in the community. This unit operates in alignment with the college’s vision and mission, which correspond with the university’s overall vision. It encourages faculty members to engage in scientific research that promotes academic development by presenting research that contributes to sustainable development. The unit provides a database and information bank containing the scientific publications of the college's faculty members, which are regularly updated. The Scientific Research Unit plays a crucial role in supporting the college by enhancing the quality of education and contributing to curriculum development.​​

 Unit Objectives:
  • Promote a culture of scientific research within the college and encourage faculty and students to participate in research and development activities.
  • Provide the necessary infrastructure and resources to effectively conduct high-quality scientific research.
  • Develop knowledge across various fields and enhance the practical applications of scientific research by fostering innovative research and original studies that contribute to societal development and scientific and technological advancement.
  • Strengthen collaboration and communication between researchers and the local and global academic communities.
  • Support community development by offering scientific expertise and consultancy to external institutions and organizations.
  • Foster a spirit of exploration and curiosity among students and encourage them to engage in scientific research.​
