Intellectual Awareness Unit
About the Unit:
The Intellectual Awareness Unit at the University of Tabuk is an independent legal entity overseen by the University Presidency. The unit focuses on developing and implementing programs to counter extremist ideas and deviant behaviors by promoting balanced and sound thinking within the university community and the surrounding society. The unit was established in response to a royal directive to create similar units across all universities to address deviant ideas.
Unit Objectives:

Promote sound thinking: The unit works to foster rational and religiously grounded thinking among students.

Achieve intellectual and legal vision: It aims to provide a balanced, academically rooted perspective for university students.

Counter extremist ideas: The unit seeks to address extremist ideas and deviant behaviors that threaten youth.
