Community Responsibility Unit

About the Unit:

The Community Responsibility Unit at the College in Haql works to organize and coordinate volunteer events and initiatives carried out by the college’s students to serve the local community in Haql Governorate. The unit aims to promote a culture of volunteerism and provide real opportunities for volunteers to contribute to community development through purposeful and well-organized initiatives.

The unit’s tasks include receiving initiatives from various college departments, collecting necessary information about the initiator, event content, date, location, and target audience. Subsequently, official letters are issued from the college to the organizations where the initiative will take place, after reviewing the type of activity and ensuring its effectiveness and benefit to the community—whether in educational, health, or social institutions within the governorate.

The unit also monitors the implementation of field activities carried out by volunteers, which may include delivering awareness lectures in various fields, providing specialized lessons in scientific subjects such as chemistry and biology, or conducting any educational programs needed by local institutions. Afterward, a summary report of the initiative, along with supporting photos, is submitted to the unit supervisor.

 Unit Objectives:
  • Strengthen the partnership between the college and the community.
  • Meet the needs of local organizations.
  • Support sustainable development in Haql Governorate through impactful initiatives with clear social value.
