Academic Advising Unit

About the Unit:

​The Academic Advising Unit plans, coordinates, and supervises the academic advising process at the college. The advising responsibility lies with a unit supervisor appointed by the dean, along with coordinators designated by department heads. All faculty members act as academic advisors, collaborating with the university's Academic Advising Administration.

 Unit Objectives:
  • Assist new students in adapting to university life through orientation programs that introduce the university, its supporting deanships, the college, and its departments.
  • Help students choose suitable majors based on their capabilities and interests, aligned with labor market needs.
  • Support and encourage high-achieving and talented students to maximize their potential in fields matching their scientific interests.
  • Monitor academically struggling students and help solve their academic issues while providing guidance to improve their learning outcomes.
  • Support students with special needs in achieving psychological and social adjustment and academic success during their university journey.
  • Raise awareness among students about academic regulations.
