BASUONY METWALY ABDELAZIZ ELGARHY
Prof. Dr. Basuony El-Garhy has been a Professor of Geotechnical Engineering and Foundation at the University of Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, since 2008. He also served as Chair of the Department of Civil Engineering from October 2014 to June 2020. With nearly 26 years of teaching experience in Geotechnical and Foundation Engineering at the university, he began his career as a practicing civil engineer. He is registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Geotechnical Engineering in Egypt. In addition to supervising and examining numerous MSc and PhD theses in his field, he has published over 37 papers in specialized international journals and conference proceedings.

Pile groups, soft soil improvement using columnar elements, piled raft foundations, and composite piled raft foundations.
