She has established research collaborations with leading national institutions, including King Abdulaziz University and King Saud University, contributing to multidisciplinary research initiatives.
Dr. Sawsan serves as an international peer reviewer for approximately 200 Scopus- and Web of Science-indexed journals, reflecting her recognized expertise and contributions to the global scientific community.

She has actively participated in numerous national and international scientific conferences, presenting research findings and engaging in academic and professional collaborations.
Dr. Sawsan is a faculty member at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Tabuk, where she is actively engaged in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, supervision of undergraduate graduation projects, clinical and field training of pharmacy students, curriculum development, and participation in departmental, faculty, and university academic and administrative committees.
