I am an academic and researcher specializing in Tourism and Travel Management With a PhD and MPhil from the Central University of Jammu, I have developed expertise in teaching, research, and curriculum development Additionally, I have earned a Certificate in Sustainable Tourism Destination Management from Cornell University, further strengthening my ability to contribute to responsible and impactful tourism practices My work focuses on fostering academia-industry collaborations, shaping policy development, and mentoring students to help them achieve academic and professional excellence

My research interests include gender and tourism, sustainable tourism, and cultural heritage tourism I have published in high-impact journals, served as a reviewer for international tourism publications, and delivered invited lectures at various academic and industry forums
Beyond academia, I actively organize workshops, conferences, and outreach programs, particularly in the areas of sustainability and women’s empowerment As a member of prestigious organizations such as the Critical Tourism Studies Network (Asia) and the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH), I continually seek opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and impactful research initiatives
