I joined the Department of Civil Engineering in October 2015 as an Assistant Professor I taught a variety of core as well as elective courses in the department I have served as a member of the academic accreditation committee in the department since December 2015 and as the assessment coordinator and member of the Faculty of Engineering assessment committee since November 2019 I have been appointed as a member of other committees at both the department and college levels Current research interests include the application of the theory of dimensions in civil engineering, river engineering, urban hydrology, design of waterways I am extending my research into the area of environmental hydraulics
