
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Higher Education Council approved the minutes of the Higher Education Council in its 43rd session, held on 10/5/1427 AH, through Royal Directive No. 6204/MB dated 18/8/1427 AH. The minutes included the approval to establish a College of Medicine in the Tabuk Region under Decision No. (5/43/1427).
The College of Medicine buildings for both male and female students are located in the University City (Building No. 25).
The first batch of male students was admitted at the beginning of the 1428/1429 AH academic year, and the first batch of female students was admitted at the beginning of the 1429/1430 AH academic year.
Academic Year 1433/1434 AH: 20 male graduates
Academic Year 1434/1435 AH: 28 male graduates + 28 female graduates
Total students: 998 (male and female)
Faculty members: 98 currently serving (62 males + 36 females)
Nationality: 67 Saudis + 31 non-Saudis
Academic ranks: 9 Professors, 22 Associate Professors, 59 Assistant Professors, 3 Lecturers, and 5 Teaching Assistants
