About Department Title

The Department of Anatomy in the Faculty of Medicine is dedicated to teaching foundational human structure to medical, pharmacy and healthcare students, integrating modern educational technologies with traditional dissection-based learning. Its mission is to support clinically oriented understanding of anatomy that underpins safe and effective medical practice. Staff are engaged in basic and applied research in cell biology, medical education, and anatomical sciences that enrich the learning environment for students.

Department Programs

The department offers structured anatomy teaching across undergraduate medical curricula, including gross anatomy, histology, and embryology modules integrated with clinical cases. Programs emphasize small-group learning, cadaveric dissection, prosection, and imaging-based anatomy to build clinically relevant knowledge and skills.
