About The Faculty of Computers and Information Technology

Higher education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has recently witnessed significant, nationwide progress. In this context, the Tabuk region received royal approval from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Higher Education Council to establish the University of Tabuk, addressing regional development needs for specialized university cadres. A subsequent royal approval endorsed the Higher Education Council’s proposal to restructure the University, which included establishing the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology and adding a women’s section.

 

The Faculty comprises:

- Computer Science

- Information Technology

- Computer Engineering

 

The University Council approved the commencement of studies in the first semester of the 1429/1430 AH academic year.

 

Since its inception, the Faculty has pursued its core objective of graduating highly qualified professionals in information technology. It remains committed to meeting scientific and educational challenges, keeping pace with rapid advances in computer science and information technology, and providing students with up-to-date technical knowledge.
