The department of industrial engineering was founded in 1433H and the studying in the preparatory year started in the academic year 14341435- H. The study is of 5 years duration including the preparatory year in addition to summer training in companies and agencies under supervision of the faculty members. The number of students currently enrolled in the program is 350, and the number of graduates from the department in the past five years has exceeded 70.
