The University College of Umluj was established as a result of restructuring the Girls' Health Sciences College in Tabuk. It was administratively, financially, and academically integrated into the University of Tabuk based on the Higher Education Council’s decision No. 23/48/1429, taken in its 44th session held on 21/10/1427 AH, regarding approval for its restructuring and establishment. This decision was endorsed by the Royal Decree No. 5088/MB dated 7/8/1432.
