Head Message

Praise be to ALLAH and peace and blessings be upon the most honourable prophets and messengers,

 I am pleased to welcome you to the page of the department of Languages and Translation at University College of Umluj, University of Tabuk. The department seeks to develop its academic plans and curricula in line with the University's goals towards the knowledge economy that keeps pace with the strategic goals of the University and the department in accordance with the kingdom's VISION2030. The department offers Linguistics track which aims to employ linguistic concepts, theories, approaches, and information technology tools critically and effectively and to meet the needs of the labour market.

In the department, we pay great attention to extracurricular activities such as English Corner Society, which in turn contribute to the refinement of students' academic and life skills. At the department of Languages and Translation, we have faculty members equipped with high scientific competencies and outstanding experience in teaching and scientific research. We also work to participate in various community service activities within the Community Service Units at University College of Umluj, as voluntary work reflects the sense of community and the love of giving among the faculty members of the department.
