The Department of Islamic Studies is one of the largest and most important departments of the University College in Umluj. It is responsible for teaching Islamic culture courses to all specializations and hosts the largest number of male and female students in the college. We are pleased to present to the esteemed reader this introductory guide to the department, which outlines its vision, mission, values, objectives, study plan, brief course descriptions, and other aspects of interest to current and prospective students.

The Department of Islamic Studies includes a distinguished group of faculty members specialized in Islamic sciences. The department strives to prepare and qualify an outstanding generation and scholarly cadres who will contribute to the development and advancement of our generous nation.

In conclusion, we thank Allah for His countless blessings, then extend our gratitude to our wise leadership—may Allah protect and guide them—for their great care and attention to both general and higher education. We also extend our thanks to the esteemed President of our University and to the Vice President for Branches for their support and guidance, and to the Dean of the College and his deputies for their visible efforts in advancing the college.
