Praise be to Allah, who taught by the pen, taught man what he did not know. May peace and blessings be upon His final Prophet and most noble Messenger, our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and companions. To proceed:

The Department of Islamic Studies is one of the largest and most important departments of the University College in Umluj. It is responsible for teaching Islamic culture courses to all specializations and hosts the largest number of male and female students in the college. We are pleased to present to the esteemed reader this introductory guide to the department, which outlines its vision, mission, values, objectives, study plan, brief course descriptions, and other aspects of interest to current and prospective students.

The Department of Islamic Studies includes a distinguished group of faculty members specialized in Islamic sciences. The department strives to prepare and qualify an outstanding generation and scholarly cadres who will contribute to the development and advancement of our generous nation.

In conclusion, we thank Allah for His countless blessings, then extend our gratitude to our wise leadership—may Allah protect and guide them—for their great care and attention to both general and higher education. We also extend our thanks to the esteemed President of our University and to the Vice President for Branches for their support and guidance, and to the Dean of the College and his deputies for their visible efforts in advancing the college. Mission

The department seeks to prepare specialists in Islamic studies, to contribute to the preparation of specialized research in Sharia sciences, to participate in community service and to provide advice to the concerned authorities.

Preparing a distinguished generation in knowledge, morals and serving its community.

Objectives

We put our vision into action through a set of general objectives that guide our journey toward excellence. Through these objectives, we strive to achieve the highest standards of academic and research performance and community service, while fostering an inspiring educational environment and a vibrant university community.

First Objective

Preparing scientific cadres familiar with forensic sciences.

Second Objective

Graduate generations capable of combining originality with contemporary.

Third Objective

Opening the field of consultations on legal issues to the relevant authorities.

Fourth Objective

Supplying state agencies and institutions with the necessary human cadres.

Fifth Objective

Opening the door for Muslim women to receive Sharia sciences, which will have an impact on the individual and society.

Sixth Objective

Participation in building a virtuous society that values ethical values and applies them in real life by linking the scientific material with the reality of students.

Development of students' research skills to ensure sustainable development at the functional and social levels.
