It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Department of Food Science and Nutrition at the College of Science, University of Tabuk. Our department places special emphasis on building a knowledgeable generation that is scientifically and professionally qualified in the fields of food and nutrition, based on our deep belief in the importance of this discipline in promoting individual and public health and contributing to sustainable development.

The Bachelor of Sustainable Food Systems program represents one of the department’s most significant achievements, as it integrates theoretical knowledge with practical application and focuses on developing innovative solutions that address community needs while keeping pace with the Kingdom’s directions in food security and sustainability.

The department also strives to align its efforts with Saudi Vision 2030, which places health, sustainability, and innovation among its top priorities. This is achieved by equipping students with the skills and knowledge necessary to build a prosperous and healthy future that contributes to realizing the aspirations of the nation.

At the Department of Food Science and Nutrition, we are committed to providing a stimulating educational and research environment that supports creativity and encourages effective partnerships with relevant institutions, thereby contributing to serving the region and the nation through the efforts of our students and faculty members.
