Medical-Surgical Nursing Department

Head of the Department’s Message

The Medical–Surgical Nursing Department at the Faculty of Nursing is committed to preparing nursing professionals who are academically and clinically competent, and who are capable of delivering high-quality healthcare that contributes to the advancement of health services in our beloved nation. The Department strives to achieve a balance between solid scientific foundations and theoretical knowledge on the one hand, and clinical and practical skills on the other, in the firm belief that nursing is a humanitarian mission before it is a profession.

The Department also places strong emphasis on the continuous development of academic curricula in line with the latest international standards, and on encouraging scientific research that promotes evidence-based practice. In addition, it seeks to establish and strengthen partnerships with healthcare institutions to provide an integrated and supportive training environment for our male and female students. Through these efforts, the Medical–Surgical Nursing Department consistently works to enhance the competencies of its graduates in alignment with national aspirations and the vision of our wise leadership.
