The Clinical Training and Internship Unit at the Faculty of Nursing, University of Tabuk serves as the central entity responsible for the comprehensive planning, organization, and administration of all practical and clinical training activities for the faculty’s male and female students, encompassing the clinical training phases and the internship year. The Unit plays a critical role in safeguarding the quality and effectiveness of clinical education through structured coordination with accredited hospitals and healthcare institutions, and by providing an advanced training environment that fosters the development of students’ scientific, clinical, and professional competencies, in full alignment with labour market needs and national and international academic accreditation standards.

Through these integrated functions, the Clinical Training and Internship Unit constitutes a foundational component in achieving the faculty’s mission of preparing highly qualified healthcare professionals capable of practicing the nursing profession in accordance with the highest standards of competence, quality, and professional excellence.
The Laboratories Unit oversees the preparation, operation, and maintenance of the faculty’s laboratories, and monitors their requirements for equipment and materials. The Unit ensures the implementation of quality and safety standards, organizes training workshops for students and faculty members on the effective use of laboratory facilities, and supports the educational, training, and research processes.
The Examinations Unit organizes midterm and final examinations and oversees the procedures for question preparation, grading, and the recording of results in accordance with standards of quality and transparency. The Unit also works on developing assessment and evaluation tools to ensure the credibility, fairness, and integrity of academic assessment.
The unit is responsible for the design and development of academic study plans in accordance with approved academic standards and the National Qualifications Framework. The Unit oversees the implementation of these plans to ensure alignment of learning outcomes with labor market requirements and the standards of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties. In addition, the Unit reviews program and course specifications and monitors the quality of their implementation on a regular basis.
The Academic Advising Unit focuses on monitoring students’ academic progress through academic advising records. It addresses registration issues and schedule conflicts, monitors academic performance, and organizes academic advising sessions and study skills workshops. In addition, the Unit provides individualized student support in collaboration with the academic departments.
The Educational Affairs Unit is responsible for preparing and monitoring academic schedules in coordination with the academic departments. It addresses academic matters and resolves related issues concerning students and faculty members. In addition, the Unit supervises course add and drop procedures, academic warning and deprivation lists, graduation records, and course equivalency processes. It also ensures the accuracy and reliability of academic statistics and reports.
The Public Relations and Media Unit at the Faculty of Nursing at University of Tabuk is responsible for enhancing effective communication between the college, its staff, and the community. This is achieved through managing media content and overseeing the publication of news and events across the university’s officially approved platforms. The unit also contributes to highlighting the college’s achievements, documenting its activities, and supporting the implementation of events and conferences. In addition, it works on developing the faculty’s website. The unit operates in alignment with the strategic plan of the faculty and the university, contributing to strengthening institutional identity and achieving its media and communication objectives.
The Professional Examinations Preparation Unit at the Faculty of Nursing at University of Tabuk is considered one of the academic committees that supports enhancing the readiness of male and female students to pass national professional examinations, foremost among them the Saudi Nursing Licensure Examination (SNLE), issued by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
The Unit aims to strengthen students’ academic and professional preparedness by organizing mock and simulated exams, and by offering guidance and training programs that help develop clinical reasoning and professional question-analysis skills. It also works on analysing exam results and identifying areas for improvement, contributing to academic support for students and increasing success rates in professional examinations.
Additionally, the Unit seeks to develop evaluation and follow-up mechanisms in collaboration with academic and technical entities within the college and the university, in order to ensure the quality of educational outcomes and enhance the readiness of graduates for the healthcare job market.
The Advisory Committee at the Faculty of Nursing at University of Tabuk is concerned with developing and organizing academic programs and enhancing their quality and impact in alignment with labour market requirements and the Kingdom’s vision. This is achieved through providing developmental proposals, reviewing learning outcomes, and suggesting partnerships with academic and professional entities. The committee also contributes to supporting scientific research and community service, which enhances the efficiency of educational outcomes and elevates the level of institutional performance.
The Social, Cultural, and Psychological Guidance Committee is dedicated to supporting students psychologically, socially, and culturally by providing counseling and guidance services, as well as implementing awareness programs and purposeful activities. It also contributes to promoting mental well-being, developing personal skills, and creating a supportive learning environment that enhances students’ academic and social adjustment, in coordination with the Guidance and Student Rights Unit at the University of Tabuk.
The Talent and Creativity Committee is dedicated to identifying and nurturing students’ talents and enhancing their creative abilities through supportive programs and innovative activities. It also contributes to creating an encouraging environment for creativity and promotes participation in competitions and initiatives that develop students’ critical thinking and excellence.
The Academic Staff Recruitment Committee at the Faculty of Nursing at University of Tabuk is responsible for attracting distinguished academic talents and supporting the recruitment of highly experienced faculty members, contributing to the development of the educational and research processes. The committee also works to enhance the quality of academic programs by selecting qualified personnel who align with the college’s requirements and its strategic plans.
