Dean's word
To start, I praise and pray upon the most noble of prophets and messengers, our prophet Mohammad may the peace and blessings of our Lord be upon him, his prodigy and all his companions.
I both welcome and congratulate all my respected colleagues from the nursing profession as well as myself on the occasion of establishing the first Faculty of Nursing in the Province of Tabuk. By establishing the Faculty of Nursing, both national and international developments may now be met and sustained by the faculty.
As outlined by the Faculty of Nursing’s Strategic Plan, of which its goals reflect the university’s strategic plan, and with the support of the diverse team of nursing professionals, the faculty seeks to develop and advance its contributions in the fields of instruction, research, and community outreach. To that end, an organizational structure has been created to guarantee the achievement of the greatest gains. As a faculty, we have taken our first steady steps armed in our firm belief in the primary role we play as the providers of fully qualified and professional nursing graduates. These graduates are the necessary component in answering the growing need for nurses within the communities we service. The growing numbers of students accepted into the Faculty of Nursing and those graduating with practical field experience in therapy, preventative treatment, and rehabilitation are a testimony to the faculty’s commitment towards its goals.
And today, with the launch of the faculty webpage, a major milestone has been completed. This milestone is a leap forward towards the modernization of the faculty, which in turn better supports our students and graduates. After all, the Faculty of Nursing students and graduates will be the ultimate measure of our success as a faculty and its educational endeavors.
Finally, I wish everyone success and bid them to make use of the faculty webpage in order to continue modernizing their skills as they match the technological developments applied within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Sincerely,
Dr. Maaidah Mouid Algamdi
