Word of The Director

Praise be to Allah, prayers and peace be upon the beloved Prophet Muhammad bin Abdullah, and upon his family and companions all.
The Department of Curricula and Teaching Methods is one of the departments of the Faculty of Education and Arts. It grants a master's degree in curricula and teaching methods. Additionally, it teaches general teaching methods (compulsory educational requirements courses) for bachelor’s degree holders, which contribute in raising the efficiency of students by introducing them to the curricula, its basics and how to build them, and presenting the latest teaching methods.
Since the teacher is of great importance in the educational process, the Department of Curricula and Teaching Methods contributes greatly to the establishment of general educational diploma courses through many courses offered to students of the General Education Diploma over two semesters, in addition to training students in the field and supervising them in schools

Believing in the importance of community service, the department has remarkable contributions in this field through many activities, in addition to the department’s contribution to training the faculty members of the college and other colleges on the latest teaching methods and methods, which subsidizes to raising their teaching competencies.

Through these objectives, we strive to achieve the highest standards of academic and research performance and community service, while fostering an inspiring educational environment and a vibrant university community.

First Objective

Introducing students to the basics of curricula, how to build up curricula, analyze them, and the base of its evaluation.

Second Objective

linking students with what is updated and new in the field of curricula and teaching methods.

Third Objective

Inculcating Islamic concepts in curricula.

Fourth Objective

Conducting educational research in the scope of curricula and teaching methods.
