The Department of Curricula and Teaching Methods began in 1407 AH, as a supportive department (teaching subsidiary courses) of the bachelor's degree. Then the educational process escalated with the initiation of the post graduate Diploma in 1417 . Then a master's program in curricula and teaching methods was inaugurated in 1430 AH. The Department is following suit the vision and mission of Tabuk University and the directions of its leadership that seek to consolidate the fundamentals of scientific research, as well as focusing on community service and considering its needs. At the same time the vision and mission of the Department are linked to the vision and mission of the faculty of Education and Arts, which aspires distinction in its academic programs.
