About Department of Management Information Systems
The Department of Management Information Systems was established in the academic year 1432/1433 AH (2011/2012 AD), following the approval of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may he rest in peace – on the decisions of the Higher Education Council during its 66th session held on 18/11/1432 AH. These decisions included the establishment of the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of Tabuk, which comprises five academic departments, including the Department of Management Information Systems. The establishment of the department reflects the college's commitment to offering high-quality and distinguished academic programs, conducting advanced research and studies in the field of Management Information Systems, and preparing qualified human resources capable of meeting the needs of the local and regional labor markets.

It takes into account a number of university admission criteria, as follows: Weighted percentage = (cumulative high school GPA x 0.30) + (general aptitude score x 0.30) + (scholastic achievement test score x 0.40). It is calculated for male students in health, science, and arts majors, and for female students in health, science, and arts majors.
Only "full-time" secondary school is accepted; "extension" or "adult education" is not accepted.
