On 5 February 2026, the Department of Languages & Translation at the Faculty of Arts & Education, University of Tabuk, organized a workshop entitled “Transforming Academic Research with Generative AI: Practical Pathways from Concept to Publication” as part of the LT 2026 Workshop Series. The session, held in the Wise Room at the Student Affairs Building and presented by Dr. Muhammad Nurual Alam, focused on the effective and responsible use of generative AI to support academic research. The workshop outlined practical applications of AI tools in refining research ideas, structuring proposals, drafting manuscripts, and improving academic writing quality, while also emphasizing ethical considerations, transparency, and scholarly accountability. Faculty members and postgraduate researchers attended the event and engaged in productive discussions on integrating AI into research workflows in a manner that enhances productivity without compromising academic integrity
