Administration of University Security

Pursuant to Decision No. 26594/052/37 of His Excellency the University President, dated 17/4/1437 AH (1437/4/1979), the Security Department was granted independence. This comes within the framework of improving performance across all departments and achieving the principle of separating conflicting responsibilities. This allows for the control and oversight of the following work procedures:

• Manage all security operations at the university.
• Monitor the entrances and exits of the university campus, and all its units and facilities.
• Promote awareness of security procedures and traffic safety.
• Supervise traffic flow, organize parking spaces, and monitor traffic violations on campus.
• Verify the identities and permits of individuals and vehicles.
• Take the necessary measures to prevent and address accidents.
• Handle security incidents and violations on campus and take all necessary measures to do so.
• Conduct a preliminary investigation into problems and incidents occurring on campus until they are referred to the competent authority.
