Administration of Planning and Budget

The Planning, Budget and Follow-up Department was established concurrently with the establishment of Tabuk University. The purpose of its establishment was to create a responsible department that would meet the university's financial needs and serve as a link between the university, all its sectors, and relevant entities. It also prepares the university's five-year plans, follows up on operational plan reports, prepares annual achievement reports, and prepares statistical reports issued to the Ministry of Higher Education, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Economy and Planning, including reports on the workforce, faculty members, and student numbers. It also prepares the draft budget, makes financial commitments for all financial transactions issued by the university's departments, and makes transfers between items and consolidates them. It also monitors the disbursement plan.
