Unit Goals:
The Support Services Unit is an administrative division operating under the direct supervision of the College Dean. The Unit is explicitly mandated to administer and enforce all approved institutional bylaws, fiscal policies, and administrative regulations, ensuring maximum operational efficiency and efficacy. Furthermore, the Unit oversees the comprehensive management, maintenance, and facility operations of the college, while directing standard operating protocols for incoming, outgoing, and internal documentary correspondence.
Responsibilities:
1. Implementing and enforcing institutional administrative frameworks and financial regulations across all college divisions.
2. Overseeing and tracking the functional progression and operational development of sub-units nested under the college administration.
3. Managing and auditing official attendance registers and absenteeism records for all administrative and technical personnel.
4. Evaluating, processing, and tracking contractual obligations, renewals, and administrative requests for international faculty and staff.
5. Maintaining direct communication with all central university directorates regarding administrative and financial operations.
6. Structuring, scheduling, and regulating annual statutory leaves for administrative staff, technical personnel, support staff, and workers.
7. Compiling and escalating comprehensive budgetary requests outlining the college's structural requirements for human resources, capital expenditure, and technical infrastructure.
8. Documenting and formalizing initial work commencement and post-leave duty resumption records for both male and female personnel.
9. Overseeing campus facilities, structural assets, and environmental sanitation profiles in strict coordination with competent university departments.
10. Serving as the primary interface with specialized maintenance teams to log technical malfunctions, monitor diagnostic repairs, and verify facility remediation.
11. Managing the strategic distribution of office spaces and furniture across the college.
12. Overseeing the college's financial affairs and specialized asset custodies in strict compliance with established rules and regulations.
13. Organizing, structuring, and supervising secretarial workflows and administrative support networks for the offices of the Dean, Vice Deans, and academic departments.
