Occupational Health, Safety, and Security Unit
Unit Goals:
The Occupational Health, Safety, and Security Unit is an administrative division operating under the direct supervision of the College Director. The Unit is exclusively mandated to administer, enforce, and maintain all approved university regulations, bylaws, compliance policies, and operational protocols governing institutional security, environmental safety, and occupational health.
Responsibilities:
1. Managing and monitoring the day-to-day administrative workflows and operational tasks of the Occupational Health, Safety, and Security Unit.
2. Establishing immediate reporting channels to document and escalate any systemic deficiencies, failures, or technical malfunctions identified within campus safety infrastructure.
3. Verifying the permanent availability, accessibility, and operational readiness of standard emergency and safety apparatus across both the male and female campuses.
4. Ensuring the execution of comprehensive, data-driven hazard identification, risk estimation, and environmental impact analyses across all college facilities.
5. Conducting periodic, structured audits of safety practices, environmental conditions, and regulatory compliance protocols throughout the college premises.
6. Executing routine, specialized technical inspections of designated emergency exits, evacuation routes and fire suppression apparatus.
7. Enforcing the institutional health and safety policies mandated by central university governance and maintaining meticulous safety compliance ledgers and incident logs.
8. Compiling and submitting scheduled periodic reports outlining performance metrics.
9. Directing and monitoring physical security deployments, access control protocols, and asset protection measures across all facilities at the University College of Umluj.
10. Formally documenting and reporting structural security breaches and operational deficiencies for immediate review and remediation.
