Unit Objectives:
Provide laboratories and equipment with necessary devices, materials, and tools.
Monitor the performance of devices and request maintenance in case of malfunctions.
Ensure the availability of all safety and security supplies.
Oversee the safe and scientific disposal of expired chemicals and waste.
Unit Responsibilities:
Monitor the college laboratories and prepare periodic reports on their status, focusing on developing their infrastructure to support both teaching and research functions.
Ensure the optimal and efficient use of devices and chemicals to preserve equipment and avoid wastage of chemical materials.
Guarantee maintenance for all devices to prevent prolonged downtime due to unavailability of spare parts.
Facilitate the smooth operation of educational and research activities by providing the necessary requirements to maximize the benefits students derive from the college’s laboratories and facilities.
