Laboratories and Labs Unit

Unit Goals:

  • Securing equipment, tools, and supplies in the college's laboratories and labs.
  • Monitor the repair and maintenance of scientific equipment in the laboratories and labs.
  • Provisioning all essential personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety infrastructure.

  • Ensuring the compliant disposal of hazardous waste streams and expired chemical reagents.

     

Unit Responsibilities:

 

  • Regularly monitor operations in the laboratories and labs and submit reports.
  • Ensuring the optimal and responsible use of equipment and chemicals to preserve devices and prevent wastage.
  • Regular maintenance of all laboratory equipment.
  • Ensure optimal use of laboratories and labs.
