Community Responsibility Unit: | University of Tabuk

The Social Responsibility Unit at University College of Umluj aims to strengthen the College’s role as an active educational institution that contributes to serving the community and achieving comprehensive and sustainable development. Through its programs and initiatives, the Unit seeks to build effective community partnerships and foster a culture of volunteerism and social responsibility among faculty, staff, and students.

Unit’s objectives:

Enhancing Community Awareness: Promote a culture of social responsibility among the College’s members and the local community, and raise awareness of the importance of contributing to national development.
Encouraging Active Participation: Empower students and faculty members to engage in community-based initiatives and projects that generate a lasting positive impact.
Supporting Sustainable Development: Implement and support developmental projects that improve the quality of life within the local community and align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Education and Training: Offer educational and training programs that develop students’ personal and professional skills in alignment with labor market demands and community needs.

Through these objectives, the Unit endeavors to instill the values of citizenship and social responsibility while strengthening the integration between education and community service to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development.
