Biology is considered one of the most important sciences in our lives due to its diverse applications in various fields. This science focuses on the study of living organisms, their environments, and the relationships among them. In the modern era, scientists have maximized the benefits of biological sciences, as many scientific discoveries are directly or indirectly related to biology. The study plan has been designed to ensure that course contents reflect the latest scientific knowledge derived from up-to-date references, with an emphasis on quality rather than quantity. The curriculum is also aligned with market needs, offering graduates a wide range of career opportunities, including teaching biology in general education, working at universities as teaching assistants, researchers, or academic technicians, and employment in ministries such as Agriculture, Livestock, and other related sectors. EstablishmentThe Department of Biology was established alongside the College of Science during the academic year 1435/1436 AH (2014/2015)
