Vice-Dean's Message

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the English Language Institute at the University of Tabuk, a key academic pillar supporting the university’s strategic directions. The Institute aims to enhance the quality of education, improve learning outcomes, and develop students’ linguistic and cognitive competencies according to the highest standards of quality and academic accreditation.

The Institute’s vision is to contribute to excellence in English language education by preparing students with high linguistic and academic competencies, enabling them to succeed in their university studies, compete in the labor market, and actively participate in the knowledge society, in alignment with the University of Tabuk’s vision and the objectives of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

The Institute’s mission is to provide high-quality English language programs based on clear and measurable learning outcomes, structured within an institutional framework that adheres to the national and international quality standards. This is achieved through modern curricula, effective teaching strategies, continuous performance assessment, and a supportive learning environment that fosters active and autonomous learning.

The Institute strives to achieve several strategic goals, including enhancing students’ English proficiency to meet targeted learning outcomes, supporting the quality of the educational process, improving teaching and assessment effectiveness according to NCAAA standards, contributing to the university’s goals of academic excellence, digital transformation, and sustainable learning, aligning program outcomes with the requirements of various academic programs and labor market needs, promoting a culture of quality, committing to continuous improvement, and making data-driven decisions.

The importance of the English Language Institute lies in its pivotal role in supporting the university’s academic programs, equipping students with global academic communication skills, and improving overall academic performance, which positively reflects on quality and institutional and programmatic accreditation indicators.

While reaffirming the Institute’s commitment to implementing quality standards and academic governance and operating in accordance with the strategic plan of the University of Tabuk, we aspire for the Institute to become a leading and distinguished model in English language education, as well as an active center for the development of linguistic and cognitive competencies at both the local and regional levels.
