About Department of Islamic

The Department of Qur'anic Studies and the Department of Islamic Studies were established in 1406 AH (1996 AH) as part of the Teachers' Colleges affiliated with the Ministry of Education at that time. After the Teachers' College joined the University of Tabuk in 1427 AH (1997 AH), the college was restructured under the name of the College of Education and Arts. The department became one of the college's departments, renamed the "Department of Islamic Studies." It then became affiliated with the College of Sharia and Law in 1445 AH (1997 AH). The department includes three programs:

  • Bachelor of Arts in Islamic Studies
  • Master of Arts in Hadith and its Sciences
  • Master of Interpretation and Qur'anic Sciences
