It is not an  obscure  that, administration occupies the utmost consequence in all  institutions, it is the backbone of success and the driving force of creativity. This importance is reflected in the educational arena, which is the core of all developmental tracks. Accordingly, University of Tabuk since its inception  deals with essentiality of administration and educational planning as a scientific reference that set up training  programs for educational leaders according to international standards and local orientation. Accordingly, approval was issued for the inaugural of the Department of Educational Administration and Planning, , since its inception, has implemented sophisticated procedures like preparing a master’s program, which includes many effective courses, premeditated according to the needs of the genuine educational environment, and based on the practices of counterpart  departments in Saudi universities.

Praise be to Allah , the Department has taken great strides in implementing what was entrusted to it, and it has trained  many categories of the educational community as  teachers,(male and female) headmasters and headmistresses,
Educational supervisor (male and female) and headmaster Deputies , focusing on providing them with scientific research skills in solving the problems they face in their discipline as a tangible  means by which society can  face all its dilemmas. In addition, reshaping the mentality of students according to modern scientific trends of specialism. and training them to deal with them according to deep thinking skills, that transfer abstract knowledge into realistic practice whose impact is reflected on the interaction of the beneficiary with his family, and community surroundings.
All I hope is that we have been successful in achieving the Department’s tasks. Praise be to Allah we are contented to graduate five batches so far;  After being taught by distinguished scholars they are enlightened intellectually and scientifically in  administration  Furthermore  they  obtained educational support from their university. To them and to those who will follow suit them, we say: You are our representatives in your work, with your knowledge, performance rises up and its level grows so you become its leaders.
