Over recent decades, computing and information technology have advanced rapidly, transforming many aspects of life. In response, the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Tabuk established the Department of Computer Science as its first department.
The Department offers a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. The curriculum is comprehensive and aligned with labor‑market needs. It prepares graduates with strong analytical, design, and innovative skills for careers across the computing sector. The program adopts a student‑centered approach and enriches learning through scholarly and cultural activities. Students engage with experts and develop robust theoretical, practical, and research competencies.
The curriculum integrates theory with application and follows ACM/IEEE curricular guidelines. The Computer Science program holds international accreditation from ABET and is pursuing national accreditation from the NCAAA. Through this rigorous preparation, graduates are equipped to deliver innovative solutions that serve both local and global communities.
