Overview

The Strategic Planning Unit leads strategic planning, monitoring, and evaluation processes at the College of Business. It ensures that the college’s objectives, initiatives, and operational activities are aligned with the university’s direction and institutional development priorities.

The unit develops the strategic and operational plans, follows up on implementation, analyzes performance indicators, prepares progress reports, and recommends improvement actions. It also builds data-based planning practices, supports decision-making, and provides technical assistance to departments and units to ensure effective execution of the college strategy.

Objectives

  1. Develop and oversee the implementation of the college’s strategic plan.
  2. Align annual operational plans with the college’s and the  university’s strategic directions.
  3. Prepare monitoring templates for strategic initiatives, programs, and projects.
  4. Follow up on the implementation of the initiative and assign monitoring responsibilities.
  5. Measure and analyze performance indicators and prepare quarterly and annual progress reports.
  6. Develop improvement plans based on monitoring and evaluation results.
  7. Prepare final reports on the implementation of strategic and operational plans.
  8. Establish a data system that supports strategic planning, analysis, and evaluation.
  9. Provide technical support to departments and units in strategy implementation.
  10. Promote a culture of strategic planning among college members.
  11. Exchange expertise with relevant strategic planning bodies within the university.
