Overview

The Scientific Research Unit supports the development of a productive and impactful research environment at the College of Business. It assists faculty members and student researchers in producing high-quality research that contributes to the college’s academic reputation and responds to relevant business, institutional, and societal priorities.

The unit coordinates research activities, helps identify research priorities, documents research outputs, and maintains databases that support planning and decision-making. It also promotes research opportunities, organizes training and scholarly events, and fosters collaboration with internal and external partners to strengthen the impact of research.

Objectives

  1. Plan and document research activities and initiatives within clear timelines.
  2. Contribute to identifying research priorities for the college and its academic programs.
  3. Maintain databases of faculty research interests and student researchers.
  4. Support the development of the college’s research strategy.
  5. Provide information on internal and external research projects and funding opportunities.
  6. Clarify participation mechanisms in university-level research projects.
  7. Offer training and workshops on research skills, academic writing, and scholarly publishing.
  8. Coordinate research events, including conferences, seminars, and workshops.
  9. Strengthen research collaboration and knowledge exchange with external partners.
  10. Document research outcomes and prepare periodic reports for relevant stakeholders.
