Overview

The Quality and Academic Accreditation Unit oversees quality assurance practices at the College of Business and supports the continuous improvement of academic programs and administrative processes. It plays a vital role in coordinating quality files, analyzing evidence and assessment results, monitoring improvement plans, and supporting national and international accreditation requirements.

The unit works closely with academic departments and relevant committees to implement quality and accreditation plans, activate assessment tools, analyze results, and provide recommendations that enhance teaching, learning, and institutional performance.

Through awareness, training, and technical support, the unit helps build a strong culture of quality and ensures that the college and its programs remain well prepared for sustainable academic accreditation and continuous enhancement.

Objectives

  1. Monitor the implementation of the college’s quality assurance plan

  2. Support departments and units in implementing improvement recommendations

  3. Promote a culture of quality and academic accreditation among college stakeholders

  4. Follow up on quality reports and files, analyze results, and prepare recommendations

  5. Support departmental quality committees and facilitate their work

  6. Monitor and analyze indirect assessment tools, including surveys, and use their results for improvement

  7. Coordinate training and development programs related to quality assurance and accreditation

  8. Follow up on national and international accreditation plans for academic programs

  9. Coordinate with relevant units and committees to provide required data, evidence, and documentation

  10. Support continuous improvement in teaching, learning, and institutional performance
