Welcome to the Interior Design Department at Tabuk University

Most of us spend a significant amount of our daily lives in interior spaces, and interior design can impact our performance, as well as our feelings and thinking. Therefore, it is imperative to focus on creating healthy and beautiful interior designs that meet individual needs and promote the principles of sustainable design, which have become an integral part of the design process today.

The Interior Design Program at Tabuk University was designed based on well-thought-out principles and standards that focus on learning various interior design methodologies and practical skills that prepare participants for various positions in interior design. In this program, students gain the theoretical knowledge to visualize spaces, study the behavior of individuals within them, and plan their spaces to create desired designs that meet recommended standards and are based on specific engineering and technical principles and rules.

The curriculum designed for students focuses not only on the technical, engineering, or scientific aspects, but also on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 regarding sustainability in urban development. Students learn about the concepts of sustainable design and how to apply them theoretically and practically in the projects presented, as well as in their personal lives. When designing the program plan, we did not forget the research aspect, which enables students to address social or living problems and find appropriate solutions.

We prepare our students to present designs that benefit and respect their clients, regardless of their social, cultural, material, or environmental context. Through the curricula and courses designed, we provide a qualified staff who master effective communication skills using the latest presentation and computer visualization methods to provide the best possible outcomes for clients during and during the design of projects in various contexts.
