Unit Manager Message

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Clinical Simulation Unit—your comprehensive platform for interactive education, assessment, and training. We are committed to providing a modern and safe learning environment that closely replicates real clinical settings to the highest standards. Our unit aims to empower students of health colleges, healthcare practitioners, and specialists to develop their practical skills and refine their professional competencies through simulation-based training programs that enhance confidence, elevate performance quality, support patient safety, and achieve the competency goals of health college graduates, ultimately contributing—Allah willing—to improving the quality of healthcare services in the region.

At our unit, we offer an integrated range of training programs that serve various health specialties, including:

  • Faculty of Medicine: Department of Internal Medicine, Department of Surgery, Department of Family Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Department of Pediatrics, Department of Emergency Medicine, ICU and Anesthesia, Radiology, Otolaryngology (ENT), and Ophthalmology.

  • Faculty of Pharmacy: Department of Clinical Pharmacy.

  • Faculty of Nursing: Department of Nursing.

  • Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences: Department of Physical Therapy.

The unit team firmly believes that learning through practice is the cornerstone of excellence. Therefore, with generous support and continuous encouragement from the university leadership—headed by His Excellency the University President, Professor Dr. Abdulaziz bin Salim Al-Ghamdi—we provide advanced simulation technologies that enable trainees to undergo realistic experiences in a supervised environment with continuous assessment by the unit team, alongside the collaborative efforts of faculty members across the health colleges. Through this, we strive to prepare qualified healthcare professionals who are capable of making effective decisions, working collaboratively as a team, and keeping pace with advancements in healthcare.

We are delighted to have you join our learning community and look forward to being your partners in the journey toward professional excellence and building a better, healthier future.
