The Documents and Archives Center at the University of Tabuk serves
as a cornerstone for preserving, organizing, and facilitating the effective use
of the university's information. Amid rapid technological advancements and an
increasing need to maintain the authenticity of information, the center is
dedicated to collecting the university’s documents generated by various
administrative and academic units, indexing and archiving them. This effort
contributes to safeguarding data and intellectual property rights, while
fostering innovation by making documents easily and promptly accessible to the
information community, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
One of the center's key objectives is to protect documents from loss
and damage, ensuring their preservation for future generations. We also strive
to classify and organize documents in compliance with the standards and
regulations issued by the National Center for Documents and Archives, making
them readily accessible and useful. Additionally, we aim to document the
university's history and various activities to provide a comprehensive and
clear picture of its journey and achievements.

The University seeks to organize and preserve all documents and archives resulting from the University's work in a manner that guarantees their safety and maintains the confidentiality of the information they contain, in implementation of Cabinet Resolution No. 171 dated 11/9/1409 AH, based on Royal Decree No. (M/55) dated 23/10/1409 AH approving the National Center for Documents and Archives System, and Cabinet Resolution No. (9) dated 2/1/1438 AH approving the organizational arrangements for documents and archives centers in government agencies. The Center works to care for official documents resulting from all the work of academic and administrative units at the University, and to implement all regulations, systems and decisions related to collecting, organizing and preserving documents in a way that enables quick and easy retrieval upon request using modern information technologies and systems.
Providing distinguished services in preserving and managing the university's official documents by developing archiving systems for documents in accordance with the highest technical standards, enabling users to access them easily and modernly, and building strategic partnerships to serve and develop the center.
