This department was established to implement regulatory procedures in accordance with the rules and procedures of government warehouses. This department monitors and regulates the inventory and disbursements of items in warehouses and safeguards university property. This ensures that all warehouse requirements are met for all university departments, according to the needs of each sector.

Accordingly, the role of the Inventory Control Department is to design methods and means to ensure that item disbursements and inventory are carried out according to a well-established plan and are consistent with regulations and laws. This ensures the university's objectives are achieved to the greatest extent possible. This ensures the continuous flow of items and materials to meet the needs of colleges, departments, units, sections, and all other sectors in the university's governorates.
