The establishment of the department dates back to the academic year 1431/1432 AH corresponding to 2010/2011 AD, under the umbrella of the University College, and with the beginning of the academic year 1432/1433 AH, the approval of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was issued on the decisions of the Higher Education Council at its sixty-sixth session ( 66) to establish the College of Business Administration at the University of Tabuk, including five scientific departments, including the Accounting Department, and based on the college’s keenness to provide high-quality, quality academic programs in the fields of accounting in a way that contributes to community service, by providing qualified human cadres according to the latest scientific and practical developments To meet the requirements of the local and regional labor market.
