General Admission Requirements

• The applicant must be a Saudi national or the child of a Saudi mother.
• The applicant must hold a General Secondary School Certificate (or equivalent) from within or outside Saudi Arabia.
• If the certificate is obtained from outside the Kingdom, it must be officially equivalized by the Ministry of Education.
• The secondary school certificate must not be older than five years.
• The applicant must not be older than 25 years.
• The Academic Achievement Test score must not be less than 50% (the available score at the time of application will be considered).
• The General Aptitude Test score must not be less than 50% (the available score at the time of application will be considered).
• The minimum weighted average required for diploma admission is 65%.
• The validity of the General Aptitude and Academic Achievement Test scores is five years.
• The applicant must not have a previous academic record at University of Tabuk within the last two semesters at the diploma level.
• The applicant must not have been academically or disciplinarily dismissed from the University or any other institution.
• The applicant must not be currently admitted or enrolled in the same or another degree at the University or any other institution.
• The applicant is responsible for the accuracy of all submitted information; admission will be canceled if any information is found to be incorrect.
• The applicant must follow up on admission procedures through the University’s official website and social media channels.

Specific Admission Requirements

• The applicant must obtain a minimum score of 50% in the English Language Proficiency Test or its equivalent (the available score at the time of application will be considered).
• The validity of English proficiency test scores is five years, while equivalent tests are valid for two years.
• The applicant must pass all required personal interviews (before or after admission to the program).
• The applicant must successfully complete the English language program to continue in the major.

Admission Criteria and Weighted Score Calculation

For Male Students / Female Students:

• Secondary School Certificate: 30%
• General Aptitude Test: 30%
• Academic Achievement Test: 40%

The weighted average can be calculated through the Deanship of Admission and Registration website.

Steps for University Admission Application

• Applicants must use a computer when submitting their application and avoid using smartphones or tablets.
• Access the electronic admission portal of University of Tabuk via the following link:
  https://myut.ut.edu.sa/ut/init
• Ensure all required information is entered accurately and correctly.
• Ensure contact details (email and mobile number) are entered correctly.
• Select available preferences and rank them  (in order of priority); applicants are responsible for their selection and  (ordering).
• It is recommended to select all available options to increase admission chances.
• Available majors will appear based on general and specific admission requirements.
• Applicants are nominated competitively based on admission criteria (weighted average), preferences, and available seats.
• Applicants must regularly check the admission portal for preliminary and final results.
• Nominated applicants must confirm their admission through the portal within the announced period; otherwise, their nomination will be canceled.
• The Deanship of Admission and Registration receives inquiries and requests electronically within one week of result announcements; requests submitted after this period will not be considered.

Intermediate Diploma Degree

An academic degree awarded after completing a program of study for no less than two and a half years, or after completing the required courses and credit hours according to the study plan and fulfilling graduation requirements.
