The Student Council is responsible for the following duties:

  1. Collecting Student Feedback:
    Council members play a key role in gathering feedback from their peers through surveys, meetings, or direct communication. They actively seek students’ opinions, concerns, and suggestions regarding various aspects of the college.
  2. Representing Student Interests:
    Council members act as advocates for students by conveying their perspectives, concerns, and suggestions to the college administration, faculty members, and decision-makers. They are responsible for effectively communicating student needs and working toward addressing them.
  3. Participating in Meetings and Discussions:
    Members are expected to attend meetings and actively engage in discussions on issues affecting students. These meetings may include college administration, faculty, and other stakeholders. Members should present student viewpoints and provide constructive suggestions.
  4. Collaborating with College Administration:
    The council works closely with the college administration to achieve positive changes. This includes contributing to policy development, enhancing programs, and supporting new initiatives while maintaining open communication and providing regular updates on student concerns.
  5. Planning and Organizing Student Activities:
    Council members may participate in planning and organizing student events such as social activities, community service initiatives, and awareness programs. They aim to create engaging and inclusive activities that meet students’ interests and needs.
  6. Serving as a Student Support Resource:
    Council members act as a point of contact for students, providing guidance and support related to academic matters, student services, and extracurricular opportunities.
