The Strategic Planning and Partnerships Unit is responsible for the following tasks:
Supervising the preparation, updating, and development of the College’s strategic plan, including its vision, mission, and strategic objectives.
Preparing the College’s operational plan report and ensuring its alignment with the University’s strategic plan, while monitoring its implementation on a regular basis.
Ensuring alignment between operational strategic performance indicators and the University’s strategic and operational KPIs.
Preparing performance measurement reports to assess the progress and achievements of the strategic plan.
Preparing quarterly reports to monitor the implementation of the College’s strategic initiatives and obtaining approval from the Dean or the relevant Vice Dean.
Preparing the annual report documenting the College’s achievements across all areas.
Supervising the preparation of operational budget estimates and ensuring their direct alignment with the University’s strategic objectives and the College’s operational plan.
Contributing to the development of human resource development plans for all categories of University staff.
Providing and analyzing statistical data, including numbers of students, faculty members, and staff, for both internal and external stakeholders, and developing mini-databases to support decision-making.
Contributing to institutional studies that support the development of higher education and address institutional challenges, such as labor market studies, employment needs, graduation and dropout rates, forecasting student and faculty numbers, and assessing institutional capacity.
Carrying out all tasks related to the Strategic Planning Committee’s activities within the scope of university strategic planning.
Maintaining all committee records, including minutes, and providing copies to the committee chair.
Reviewing matters referred to the Unit by the Dean of the College and completing related transactions, as well as performing any additional tasks assigned through the relevant Vice Deanship.
Submitting a quarterly report to the Dean of the College covering all Unit activities.
