Tourism Under the Microscope

The College of Tourism and Hospitality organized the “Tourism Under the Microscope” event with the aim of highlighting the tourism sector and its economic and cultural importance, as well as introducing the opportunities and challenges facing the sector amid rapid developments.

The event included several discussion corners and presentations that addressed various fields of tourism, in addition to showcasing the major tourism assets and the sector’s role in supporting national development and creating job opportunities.

The event witnessed participation and engagement from students, who discussed many topics related to the future of tourism and the skills required to work in this field, within a distinctive educational and interactive atmosphere.

The event also highlighted the role of education and training in preparing qualified national talents who contribute to the development of the tourism sector, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

This event comes as part of the College of Tourism and Hospitality’s efforts to enhance students’ professional awareness and connect them with the latest developments in the tourism and hospitality sector.
